In 2013, MAROCLEAR was one of the first financial institutions in Morocco to obtain the certification related to its Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) - ISO 27 001 for all of its activities.
After 2016, the Central Securities Depository has successfully renewed this certification in 2019, after several audits carried out by « Bureau Veritas ».
Considered as an important infrastructure in the capital market, MAROCLEAR thus affirms its ambition to continuously comply with the most requested norms and standards, in all fields, in particular those related to information security.
Maintaining the international standard ISO 27001 represents more insurance for MAROCLEAR, allowing it to support the development of the Moroccan capital market and to contribute for driving Casablanca as a regional financial hub.
The renewal of this certification also rewards the efforts made by the Top management and MAROCLEAR’s teams to guarantee the highest level of security for its information assets and to give to Casablanca market the necessary level of trust.
On June 1, 2018, MAROCLEAR proceeded to the failover of its operational activities on its backup site.
